This seminar will
focus on problem solving, proper decoying,
tracking/trailing and narcotics detection
using varied locations and amounts to
challenge any k9 team.
Specific Skills
Taught
Decoy as an instrument of
operant conditioning.
Alert on
passive suspects with no equipment
Bringing out civil aggression.
Eliminate equipment
orientation in any dog.
Proper sleeve
mechanics: sleeves dont create equipment
orientation, decoys do.
Proper Bite
suit targeting and catch mechanics.
muzzle fighting.
Explanation of decoy
technique for training and maintaining
control out, guarding, redirects,
and call-off (recalls).
Integrating
fundamentals of Tracking, Narcotics
(Consealment locations) into
police K9 training scenarios. Channeling
drive for detector work.
Problem solving in all
diciplines will be addressed.
Certification will be offered
Through the American Working Dog
Association.
